Balungao Central High School was founded in mid 40s', and its first location is in Pugaro, Balungao, Pangasinan. In the early fifties, it is located in Poblacion, Balungao, Pangasinan. Due to some developments it will be back in its new location Pugaro, Balungao, Pangasinan, Philippines.
The first graduates are members of class 1949. There are now more than five thousand (5,000) graduates of this prestigious school, of which more than seventy percent have become professionals. These graduates have had diversified fields of endeavor, entered the government service, engaged in business, and practised their chosen profession.
Most of the graduates are now working in the United States and other parts of the globe.
Sometime in 2002, the alumni of class 1953, activated the Balungao Central High School Alumni Association, Inc. in order that Graduates of the said school will have a representation at the TOWN FIESTA and at the same time as ANNUAL HOMECOMING for those based outside their beloved hometown BALUNGAO.
